As our InRoom Dining Team Leader you will be responsible for coordinating and managing our inroom dining service while maximizing profitability and meeting customers needs. You will report to the Director of Restaurants and Bars.
You will be responsible for:
- Taking accountability and effectively managing the In Room Dining in conjunction with the Restaurant Leader.
- Being knowledgeable of and operating within appropriate outlet and hotel liquor licensing guidelines and House Management Policies.
- Maintaining currency of RSA certification amendments and updates and adhere to RSA principles.
- To assist in the reaching of financial goals for the Food and Beverage department.
- Create a positive guest experience by delivering a high level of service and ensuring all staff engage guests to understand their needs and exceed expectations.
- Preparing weekly rosters and consistently monitoring labour costs to remain within financial budget.
- Implementing new company policies and procedures by developing plans and instructing staff.
- Identify and delegate responsibilities to Team Leaders and staff to ensure objectives are met and excellent service is consistently achieved.
- Provide direction to shift leaders and staff to achieve restaurant goals.
- To ensure that the Restaurant and In Room Dinning areas are maintained to a high standard cleanliness.
- Consistently review operations and staff to identify any problems concerns and opportunities for improvement.
- Provide coaching and feedback to managers and staff and assess performance on and ongoing basis.
- Maintain a good working relationship with the kitchen team and other departments.
