About BYD Auto Hungary
On 22 December 2023 BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged Hungary which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a worldleading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enforcing the plants safety and environmental regulations organizing safety trainings and education programs.
- Conducting regular safety inspections identifying and addressing potential hazards.
- Supervising manufacturing processes ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
- Overseeing wastewater emissions and waste management; preparing and approving environmental impact assessments.
- Implementing energysaving initiatives and improving energy efficiency.
Skills Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Proficiency in English as a working language.
- Hold intermediate or senior occupational health and safety qualification certificate;
- Degree in Mechanical Automotive or Management field;
- 3 years of relevant work experience in a plant is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of office software strong communication and interpersonal skills.
