Job Description
Due to rapid growth within the business we are currently recruiting for a Commercial Assistant to join our vibrant and dynamic team! At OCU Opals (Part of the OCU Group) we design build manage and maintain vital communications infrastructure for everyday use for a betterconnected world. We work with major network operators technology vendors and engineering companies to create the next generation of communication networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Raising Early Warning Notices
- Manage the CEs (Compensation Events) and get them agreed with the client for payment before work has taken place.
- Validate the AFP (Application for payment) with Delivery Team Project Manager
- Validate the Joint Measure on a weekly basic with Client.
- Asset in all commercial needs of the business
- Manage Sub contractor payments & Queries.
What we are looking for:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using office software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and interface with various stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of financial concepts and data analysis.
