Job Description

We are currently seeking an organised and enthusiastic Talent & Culture Coordinator to support the HR function for four Accor hotels across Tasmania and Victoria.  For the right candidate hours and location will be considered.  This is a part time role up to 24 hours a week however we are open to fulltime hours for the right candidate.

This is a unique opportunity to join a passionate and collaborative Talent & Culture team and grow your skills and knowledge in the field of Human Resources.  

ALL about the role what youll be doing:

  • Support Department Heads in recruitment and assist in the recruitment process by posting job ads screening resumes and coordinating interviews
  • Prepare and manage employee contracts and ensure all necessary documentation is completed
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for all employees addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment
  • Support the team in handling employee relations issue
  • Support with the organisation of employee engagement activities
  • Administer the Accor online training platform and maintain accurate records
  • Assist in the coordination of the ongoing implementation and management of the staff performance review program
  • Assist in the constant improvement of HR procedures and management

  • Creative flair and enthusiasm for driving employee engagement initiatives
  • Confidence to work autonomously and able to collaborate with the Talent & Culture team remotely
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Basic understanding of the Hospitality Industry General Award (HIGA)
  • A passion for people and creating a positive workplace culture
  • The confidence to engage with senior stakeholders in the business
  • Whilst not essential you will ideally have a background or qualification in HR and/or experience in the hotel industry
