Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced fulltime licensed Structural Engineer to join our architectural engineering and interior design team based in St. Petersburg FL. The Structural Engineer will play a key role in overseeing assigned projects ensuring that they meet client expectations in terms of quality budget and schedule. This position will work on largescale Senior Living ILF/ALF/SNF Surgery Centers and Multifamily Highrise projects both new construction and renovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the structural engineering aspects of assigned projects ensuring all work meets highquality standards adheres to budget constraints and is completed on schedule.
- Collaborate with crossdisciplinary teams to deliver technically proficient wellcoordinated structural design solutions.
- Lead or participate in project meetings during design and construction phases.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing structures and provide problemsolving solutions during both the design and construction phases.
- Coordinate with subcontractors clients and internal team members to ensure project goals are achieved.
Required Qualifications:
- Florida Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) Required.
- Bachelors degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in structural design within an AE (Architecture/Engineering) environment.
- Proven experience designing appropriate structural systems within the constraints of the clients budget and timeline.
- Strong track record of managing projects including prioritizing tasks and scheduling effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with engineers and architects across multiple projects.
- Experience in Senior Living/ILF/ALF Multifamily Highrise Commercial and Healthcare projects (new construction and renovation).
- Familiarity with the Agency for Healthcare Administration (AHCA) on healthcare design.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD 2021 and Autodesk Revit 2021.
- Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA 3D.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook).
