Job Description
- Operate and monitor HVAC equipment including boilers chillers air handlers and cooling towers.
- Conduct regular inspections and performance checks to ensure systems are running efficiently and effectively.
- Adjust system controls and parameters based on environmental conditions and guest needs.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems including cleaning lubricating and replacing parts as needed.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical electrical and control system issues.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or maintenance when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of system performance maintenance activities and any incidents or repairs.
- Prepare reports on system performance energy consumption and maintenance activities for management review.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations related to HVAC systems and environmental controls.
- Respond promptly to guest complaints or issues related to HVAC comfort and take appropriate actions to resolve them.
- Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure HVAC systems meet the needs of all areas of the hotel.
- Implement energysaving practices and monitor energy consumption to reduce operational costs.
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance system efficiency and sustainability.
