Job Description
As a Server in the Fairmont Gold Lounge you will ensure all guests receive exceptional service by consistently offering professional friendly warm and engaging service.
What you will be doing:
- Set up food & beverage service and clear tables and counters in the Fairmont Gold Lounge.
- Ensure exceptional service to guests.
- Have complete knowledge of the menu and beverage lists in the outlets and all other special promotions taking place in the hotel. Knowledge of all menu items garnishes contents and preparation methods.
- Responsible for upselling.
- Ensure all bills are handled in an accurate manner.
Qualifications :
- Previous serving experience with an advanced level of liquor wine and beer knowledge.
- Demonstrated knowledge of food pairing and menu descriptions coupled with a passion for food.
- Smart Choices responsible liquor service certification required.
- Service oriented team player flexible in high paced environment and able to handle pressure with grace.
- Excellent verbal & written English communication skills.
- Must be able to complete all physical aspects of the job without restriction i.e. Lift 25 lbs at a time stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and/or holidays.
