Job Description
Job Title: System Application Administrator (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Install configure and maintain application systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with development teams to implement application updates and enhancements.
- Manage user access and permissions to application systems.
- Document application configurations procedures and troubleshooting steps.
- Assist in the development and execution of backup and recovery plans.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience in application administration or a similar role.
- Proficiency in application servers (e.g. Apache Tomcat JBoss) and databases (e.g. SQL Server Oracle).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and experience with performance monitoring tools.
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash) for automation tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
