You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe role of a Business Development Executive is to assist the organisation's sales and growth effort by contributing to new customer acquisition. He should be able to provide ideas to attract new clients and keep the senior management updated about marketplace and competitors’ activity.
Build contacts with potential clients to create new business opportunities
Keep prospective client database updated
Make cold calls for new business leads
Support in writing new business proposals
Maintain knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
Arrange meetings for senior management with prospective clients
Follow company guidelines and procedures for the acquisition of customers, submission of tenders etc.
Market Research and Analysis
Identifying Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential clients.
Competitor Analysis: Analyze competitors and industry trends to inform strategic decisions and positioning.
Lead Generation
Prospecting: Generate leads through networking, cold calling, email outreach, and attending industry events.
Qualifying Leads: Assess and qualify leads to determine their potential for conversion into clients.
Client Engagement
Building Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
Consultative Selling: Understand client needs and present tailored solutions that align with their objectives.
Sales Presentations
Pitching: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing products or services.
Demonstrations: Conduct product demonstrations and explain features and benefits to clients.
Proposal Development
RFP Responses: Prepare and submit proposals and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and conditions of contracts to secure profitable deals.
Collaboration
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align strategies and initiatives.
Feedback Loop: Provide feedback from clients to relevant teams to enhance product offerings and services.
