ontracts as identified by Contracts Head i.e. from receipt of request received from sponsoring department(s) until award and contract finalization and supporting Sponsoring Department(s) in contractual/commercial administration and close out of these contracts meeting the requirements in a timely manner and in compliance with approved policies and procedures for Woqod and its subsidiaries.
To assess and establish the contractual and commercial conditions of all Client and subsidiaries projects from tender to close out stage of contract works in accordance with approved policy and procedures and to oversee contractors' compliance to terms and conditions and the contractual deliverables and activities ensuring fulfilment of contract obligations as and when reported by user department.
1. Contract Management
Drafting Contracts: Prepare and draft contracts, including terms and conditions, scope of work, and payment schedules.
Review and Negotiate: Review contracts to ensure they meet organizational standards and negotiate terms with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.
2. Compliance and Risk Management
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that contracts comply with legal and regulatory requirements relevant to the industry.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks associated with contracts and develop strategies to mitigate them.
3. Documentation and Record Keeping
Maintain Records: Organize and maintain accurate records of contracts, amendments, and correspondence related to contract management.
Documentation Review: Ensure all contract documentation is complete and properly filed.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
Liaison Role: Act as a point of contact between various stakeholders (e.g., legal, procurement, engineering teams) to facilitate communication and collaboration.
Feedback Collection: Gather feedback from stakeholders to ensure contract terms align with project needs and expectations.
5. Performance Monitoring
Contract Performance: Monitor and assess the performance of contracts to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
Reporting: Prepare reports on contract performance, including any issues or disputes that arise.
