Job Description

The ideal candidate would manage the educational plans of dual language students with special needs across multiple grade levels. Your responsibilities will include working alongside general education teachers to deliver tailored instruction and foster both academic and socialemotional growth. Youll also be responsible for developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to help each student meet their unique learning goals.

In this role you will:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for K5 students
Utilize curriculum materials and educational software to deliver engaging instruction
Create daily lesson plans and classroom schedules that meet state and school standards
Establish and maintain a structured safe and effective learning environment
Deliver instruction in both Spanish and English

Requirements

Illinois LBS1 Certification
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
Bachelors Degree in Special Education or related field
Experience working with children with a variety of disabilities
Proven experience as a Special Education Teacher or relevant role
