What you will be doing:
- Competently handle Premise Liability and Motor Vehicle cases.
- Draft Pleadings and Motions.
- File documents online with the Court.
- Attend Arbitration Hearings.
- Try jury cases.
- Take depositions.
- Coordinate discovery and review demand packages with paralegals.
Experience you will need:
- At least 5 years of meaningful trial experience.
- Prior Jury Trial Experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Skills in both answering client phone calls and responding to emails.
- Excellent computer and technology skills.
- Experience using a Case Management Software preferably FileVine.
- Access to a car for occasional travel to Lake Kane DuPage and other Cook County Suburban Courtrooms.
