Job Description
Role: QA Engineer
Qualification: BTech/MTech/MCA
Job Location: Hyderabad/Pune
Experience: 3 years
Work Mode: Hybrid
Job Description:
The role requires handson QA expertise ability to take initiative and develop and evolve QA processes. The right candidate will be able to analyse the products to determine what to test the priority of those tests and the best way to test. You should understand the requirements and design test procedures and test cases for automated software testing.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and evolve formal QA/testing practices test processes methodology standards and hygiene for agile development efforts.
- Defect Management & Test Management activities for the product portfolio at DE.
- QA strategy test design /plan test automation and drive test execution working closely with product development teams to build robust enterprise Cloud ready products.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics applying industry best practices and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality standards are met.
- Develop the strategy and enablement End to End functional verification & validation testing including test coverage for operational requirements (Performance testing Load Testing etc )
- Respond to all requests from team members in a timely and professional manner.
- Design automated test scripts that are repeatable wherever possible.
- Develop effective communication channels to clearly articulate issues and work collaboratively with development teams to resolve them.
- Capture KPI & other QA metrics regularly and use them to assess the product quality & process effectiveness. Provide regular insight & reports to all the project stake holders.
Requirements
Requirements:
- 3 years of proven industrial experience in endtoend QA activities for product development.
- HandsOn experience in the development of Automated test scripts Test execution using Selenium Java Web Driver for testing API components including Microservices.
- HandsOn experience in the development of Automated test scripts test execution using Selenium for testing front end functionality built using React JS Angular JS
- Understanding of existing QA best practices and methodologies to design implement and automate processes.
- Should be well versed with any of the industry standard test management tools like QC Test Rail QTP etc
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing test cases scripts plans and procedures to support various development methodologies.
- Understanding of multitier web application architecture and deployment on the Cloud
- Working knowledge DevOps and testing software in a containerized environment is plus.
- Prior success using a metricsdriven approach and closedloop feedback to improve software deliverables and improve predictability and reliability of releases.
- Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found.
- Selfmotivated works well independently and with others.
