Job Description
Director Clinical Operations Boston
We are working on behalf of our client to find a Director of Clinical Operations based in Boston. This leadership role involves managing oncology trials overseeing daytoday operations and working closely with both internal teams and external partners in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical trial timelines risks and challenges ensuring accurate and timely delivery
- Lead crossfunctional collaboration to support clinical trial objectives
- Manage trials from startup through closeout ensuring all deliverables are on time and within budget
- Supervise external partners (CROs) and vendors addressing issues as they arise
- Handle contracts budgets and trial agreements ensuring operational excellence
- Mentor and support junior staff as they grow
Requirements:
- BA/BS in nursing biology or related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 12 years in clinical research operations with at least 2 years in oncology
- Early phase experience including IND submissions
- Strong vendor and project management skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and MS Office proficiency
- Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams
