About the Role:

Were looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a multidiscipline engineering team performing plant and project engineering activities. This role involves selecting construction materials creating specifications conducting inspections and overseeing mechanical engineering analyses across steam hydraulic HVAC and other essential systems. The ideal candidate will ensure project schedules are met while maintaining safety and quality standards in all phases of work.

Your Mission:

  • Mechanical Engineering Analysis: Conduct analyses for systems including steam hydraulic pumping/piping HVAC and machinery design.
  • Inspection & Safety: Inspect buildings equipment and pipelines for safety and structural integrity making recommendations for modifications.
  • Project Management Support: Assist in scheduling cost control and material coordination to meet project deadlines.
  • Design & Specification: Select construction materials prepare specifications and supervise mechanical drawings for accuracy.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all work complies with industry codes and standards and maintain documentation for commissioning and safety processes.
  • Collaborative Input: Provide constructability feedback on design packages from suppliers and design firms.

Core Competencies:

  • Proficiency in CADD tools (AutoCAD Pipe Stress Analysis Vessel Design).
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes (ASME API) and construction standards.
  • Clear communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Effective project management principles and experience with project timelines.

What You Bring:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university (or closely related field).
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in mechanical engineering and design with expertise in construction practices and safety.
  • Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD HVAC and GMP and familiarity with applicable engineering codes and standards.

Schedule & Shift Details:

  • Work Schedule: Fulltime 40 hours per week.
