A controller primarily oversees accounting processes ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with regulations astrategic financial professional focusing on longterm planning investor relations and overarching financial strategy.
Our client a wellestablished familyowned business is seeking a seasoned CFO/Controller to join their team in Ottawa Canada. As a key member of the leadership team you will oversee daily accounting functions manage financial processes and provide guidance to senior management and department heads. Your expertise will help drive business growth improve efficiencies and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
CPA designation with a minimum of 10 years postqualification experience in Canada
Strong attention to detail organizational skills and leadership abilities
Keen analytical skills with a proven track record of streamlining processes and improving efficiencies
Proficient in both official languages (English and French)
Advanced knowledge of MS Office products (particularly Excel)
