Who we are

The Brand Design team is in charge of evolving developing and maintaining Klarnas visual identity at the highest level.

About the role

Our brand creatives play a fundamental role in the strategy conception and design of Klarnas ideas and products. Bringing exceptional creative thought and wellcrafted execution to projects they shape groundbreaking brand experiences and possess expert knowledge of innovative communication trends. As part of the Brand Design team youll be working alongside other designers copywriters product marketers marketing managers PR specialists and strategists. This role requires you to seamlessly integrate brand design into product design to create a unified brand experience.

What youll do

  • Build the design foundation for the Klarna brand from a B2C B2B and product perspective.

  • Collaborate closely with the Product team serving as the key liaison to ensure seamless integration and alignment between Brand and Product initiatives

  • Approach the brand in a holistic multidisciplinary way always taking art direction design and physical and digital environments into account.

  • Develop brand guidelines scaling solutions that can be implemented by other designers and marketeers.

  • Lead design executions throughout all project phases across a broad range of print digital and physical touchpoints.

  • Collaborate with designers creatives and art directors in other teams to challenge and create compelling design work.

  • Ensure brand consistency through effective guidance and implement relevant feedback from other teams with a positive attitude.

  • Conceptualize design ideas and provide clear reasoning behind them.

  • Put together presentations to pitch your ideas to stakeholders (including noncreatives) in an engaging convincing manner.


You must

  • Offer a minimum of 5 of proven experiencepreferably from branding/design studios and (or) product design roles (within a brand) and show a strong portfolio that showcases how the brand comes to life through digital channels and products.

  • Possess a structured systematic working approach.

  • Bring ideation experience and be able to conceptualize strong impactful ideas that translate into top digital touchpoints. Our creatives are expected to bring a multitude of smart ideas to the table.

  • Ability to work extremely collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment with product leads/designer art directors copywriters motion designers and brand strategists project managers to create compelling brand experiences.

  • Bring a forwardleaning and humble attitude going above and beyond to deliver the best ideas and refining those of others. You love to get your hands dirty and translate high level strategy into wellcrafted execution.

  • Work quickly within a fastpaced environment and remain focused under pressure without compromising on quality.

  • Articulate and present concepts and solutions in an engaging manner to internal stakeholders. You know how to sell a pitch both storytellingwise and via presentations.

  • Have a curious personality that embraces AI new challenges seeks out ways of improving processes and inspires new ways of thinking.

  • Possess exceptional Englishlanguage skills in both written and oral communication.

  • Feel comfortable working across Gsuite (including Google Slides Docs and Sheets.)

  • Have a strong proficiency in graphic design software (Adobe Creative Suite Figma etc.) Motion or 3D skills are a huge plus.

  • Stay uptodate with industry developments and new tools.
