Our client is the UKs first premium fitness supergroup home to leading fitness brands across London. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Operations and People to lead their operations and people strategies. This role is essential for driving operational efficiency enhancing employee engagement and supporting the companys overall growth and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Oversee daytoday operations across all fitness sites ensuring high standards of service delivery safety and compliance.
- Develop and implement operational strategies including operating model for clubs processes and SOPs
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency cost control and service levels.
- Lead operational projects such as the expansion of new sites implementation of new technology systems or process improvement initiatives.
- Manage supplier relationships and contracts to ensure the best terms and conditions for services equipment and facilities
- Regular site visits across all locations to ensure operational excellence
People & Culture Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies to attract develop and retain top talent within the organisation
- Lead talent acquisition and onboarding ensuring the recruitment of qualified fitness professionals and operational staff who fit the company culture
- Analyse the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) the development and improvement of this and ensuring this lives and breathes throughout the business
- People engagement including regular team surveys and benefits
- Drive training and development programs to enhance staff skills and promote career progression
- Develop workforce planning strategies ensuring the right resources are in place to support business growth and customer demand
About you:
- Proven experience in operations and HR/ people management ideally within the fitness leisure or premium hospitality/ retail sectors
- Experience managing multisite operations with a focus on customer service excellence
- Leadership experience with a track record of building and managing highperforming teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
- Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement new processes in a dynamic environment.
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking
- Passionate about health wellness and fitness with a commitment to the companys mission and values
- A relevant qualification in L&D/ HR is not essential but would be desirable/ relevant experience in these areas also highly favoured as part of the selection process
- You must be able to get into London studios/ Head Office 5 days per week
