The Customer E2E Security Solutions Architect acts as a trusted advisor partnering with the customers on their needs. Understands and captures the critical inputs of stakeholders and translates them into effective requirements and solutions. Specifies and designs effective EndtoEnd solutions incl. customerspecific adaptations by using the Nokia portfolio of products systems and / or services as well as 3rd party products where required. Applies solution architecture standards processes and principles to create and maintain a solutions technical integrity over time.
The Customer E2E Security Solutions Architectworks closely with a talented team of technical designer to construct the network architecture solutions designs feature testing and deployment procedures.
The Customer E2E Security Solutions Architect interface directly with the customer engineering leads and provides technical consultation to the customer.
This role sits within the Cloud and Network Services Business Group Enterprise Market Service delivery unit which supports crossfunctional/geographical projects and programs and aligns them with business objectives and strategies.
The successful candidate must have a strong background in Security domains with proven experience in leading complex projects effectively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Solution Design: Architect endtoend network solutions based on client requirements and industry best practices. Design network architectures including security and core network elements considering factors like capacity planning high availability and quality of service (QoS).
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the solution lifecycle. Mentor junior team members conduct technical workshops and facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance the teams expertise in packet core technologies.
- In this position the Solution Architect interfaces with TPM PM and TDL as well as customer engineering teams to coordinate and facilitate detailed design and delivery execution of the different elements of the network
- Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with sales and business development teams to understand client requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solution designs. Conduct thorough analysis of customer needs network performance metrics and market trends to recommend optimal solutions.
- Solution Implementation: Oversee the implementation and integration of the designed solutions into clients networks ensuring seamless deployment and adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Work closely with network engineers system integrators and vendors to resolve technical issues and mitigate risks.
- Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor the performance of network and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement. Conduct network performance analysis capacity planning and traffic engineering to optimize resource utilization and improve network efficiency.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of emerging security and core technologies industry standards and regulatory requirements. Evaluate new hardware and software solutions conduct proofofconcept trials and make recommendations for technology adoption and investment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare detailed technical design documentation including solution architectures design specifications configuration guidelines and operational procedures. Generate reports on project progress performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders and management.
Required Skills:
- Cross domain Senior Solution Architect with delivery experience of Telecom projects preferably for Enterprise networks.
- 15 or more years of demonstrated experience in architecture design and integration in multivendor customer environments with special focus on security threads and solutions in telecommunication networks.
- Indepth Knowledge of the Cyber Security design and architecture for Nokia NetGuad portfolio Firewalls and Security Gateways Signaling Gateways DNS Digital Operations IoT and endpoint security XDR security Security operations and consultancy services.
- Indepth Knowledge of the Cyber Security design and architecture for Mission critical networks and applications Push to talk Push to Video AI VR CCTV Evolved Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Services.
- Indepth Knowledge of the Cyber Security design and architecture for the Cloud Core solutions including the Cloud Infra Cloud Network Function s(CNFs) and Public Cloud platforms (GCP AWS or Azure).
- Indepth Knowledge of 4G/5G protocols and standards including Service Based Architecture and cloudnative design.
- Experience in designing and setting up testing methodology and testing plans for large networks with various use cases.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
- Continuous learning adapting new technology and methodologies staying up to date on relevant industry trends.
- A strong commitment to sharing technical knowledge within and outside your team.
- Ability to work as part of multicultural global team in different time zones.
- Fluency in English is crucial Arabic speaking is highly preferable.
MBA is a plus.
