Job Description
SRE/Software Engineer resources
Location: Hybrid in Dearborn MI Fort Lauderdale FL Dallas TX or Palo Alto CA
- 2x per week
Duration: 6 months contract to hire
Profile:
SRE Software Engineering Monitoring
Top Skills:
- Software Engineering background
- Grafana preferred but monitoring best practices is required
- Go used daily for builds (python will also suffice)
- Kubernetes
- GCP Cloud Engineering preferred but open to AWS or Azure
- Linux
- Dagger not required
Day to day and Tech stack:
- This environment is an independent GCP space for all of Connected Vehicle Services used platforms
- This team runs all of the infrastructure for their specific products and software
- Using Dagger and Go to write pipelines this turns their pipeline into its own application
- Their work is fairly difficult and not traditional but it creates more cloud flexibility for the overall organization
- Building out this platform for software engineers to use
- Enablement and SRE team being stood up
- Will have dozens of product teams in their enablement environment
- Observability team already in place
- Running in Grafana Saas
