Job Description

What We Do: We are developing solutions that enable computers and sensors to collaborate as teams working together to address emerging security challenges. Our primary mission is to defend against AIpowered asymmetric threats at scale such as drone swarms and other UXVs.
Who We Are: Based in Munich we are rapidly expanding across Europe with plans to open more office hubs soon. We embrace a hybrid work culturevaluing the collaboration that happens in the office while also empowering our team members to work remotely with responsibility and autonomy.
Tasks
You develop and improve algorithms and MLmodels for the detection and classification of flying objects in visual data
You evaluate and select machine learning model architectures for the given task trading off between performance and runtime
You continuously improve the performance of our MLmodels by training the models with improved hyperparameters and extended datasets
You keep track of the current scientific publications in the field of object detection and classification
You ensure a consistently very high quality of our ML models by supervising the whole AIengineering team
Requirements
Must have:
- University degree in engineering or science
- PhD in a relevant field is a plus
- 10 years practical software development experience
- Experience Visual Object Detection & Classification
- Experience in Deployment on EdgeDevices (eg. Nvidia Jetson)
- Great knowledge in Python and/or C
