About Us
Layer Finance aims to digitally disrupt the private markets sector using Artificial
Intelligence. We are building a platform that streamlines deal sourcing and closing for
professional market participants. Our unique proposition integrates three pillars: Deal
Brokerage SaaS solutions and Outsourcing Services all aimed at connecting investors
with highquality offmarket opportunities. Our Artificial Intelligence solutions boost
process efficiency and enable deal teams and professional investors to make better
decisions.
We are currently focusing on real estate investments including both the financing of
development projects with debt or equity solutions and the placement of existing assets
in the secondary market. Additional asset classes such as company transactions like
strategic financing or company exits will be added to our platform in the near future. Our
unfair advantage is that we have an inhouse team of senior business experts with many
years of experience in private markets deal sourcing and closing.
Tasks
Responsibilities
Create an easy to use and responsive user interface for our web application
Ensure that the user interface can be automatically tested and diagnosed
Contribute to other software development work if necessary
Requirements
Important to have
Experience with designing and implementing GUIs with great user experience
Knowledge of TypeScript React insource styling and related build tools
Disposition for optimal decisionmaking critical thinking and selfawareness
Kind positive and collaborative attitude focused on mutual success
Ability to work remotely but come to the office in Vienna if needed
Official permanent or temporary residence in Austria
Nice to have
Experience with visual communication and design
Knowledge of functional reactive programming paradigm
Strong familiarity with software testing practices and tools
General competence in broader software engineering topics
Existing work that can be demonstrated or reviewed
