Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

  • This senior level sales position sells the organization's products/services by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects.

  • A District Representative serves as a key liaison between an organization and its stakeholders in a specific geographic area. This role typically involves promoting products or services, managing relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Here’s a detailed overview of the key responsibilities:

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Promotion:

    • Promote and sell products or services within the assigned district to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential clients and opportunities for growth.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and prospects, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly, acting as a point of contact for support.
  • Market Analysis:

    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business development.
    • Prepare reports on market conditions and customer feedback to inform strategic planning.
  • Territory Management:

    • Develop and execute a territory management plan, optimizing routes and schedules for client visits.
    • Track sales activities and customer interactions using CRM software.
  • Collaboration with Internal Teams:

    • Work closely with marketing, sales, and product development teams to align strategies and initiatives.
    • Provide feedback on customer needs and product performance to support continuous improvement.
  • Training and Support:

    • Educate clients about new products and services, providing training as necessary to ensure effective use.
    • Assist clients with product installation or implementation, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Event Participation:

    • Represent the organization at trade shows, conferences, and community events to promote products and services.
    • Network with industry professionals to build relationships and enhance the organization’s presence in the market.
