Job Description
Facilities Technician
Pay:$18/HR. (Based on experience)
Hours:Day Shift
Job type:Temp Position (46 months with a possibility to go perm)
Location:Catoosa Oklahoma
Job Brief:
We are seeking a Facilities Technician to oversee maintenance tasks conduct repairs and ensure the safety and functionality of all facility systems. This role requires a handson individual who can navigate maintenance systems perform equipment inspections and ensure smooth facility operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and use the maintenance CMMS system for accurate tracking and reporting.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC electrical systems generators and other facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot building infrastructure to maintain optimal system functionality.
- Ensure compliance with LOTO procedures and Red Tag Permit Instructions.
- Perform monthly inspections on production equipment and replace parts as necessary.
- Collaborate with building management on facility renovations and improvements.
- Report maintenance metrics to management and coordinate inspections with department managers.
- Travel to various locations within the Port to carry out maintenance tasks.
Skills Required:
- Proficient in navigating and managing the maintenance CMMS system.
- Experience in maintaining and repairing HVAC systems electrical systems and generators.
- Knowledge of LOTO procedures and Red Tag Permit Instructions for safety compliance.
- Valid drivers license for travel within the Port area.
- Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Regular attendance punctuality and flexibility to work onsite and overtime when needed.
