Job Description
Position Overview:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines automating system configurations and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our production environment. You will work closely with development QA and operations teams to streamline our software development lifecycle and support our missioncritical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to support automated build test and deployment processes.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform Ansible or similar.
Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and ensure high availability of services.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient software releases.
Implement security best practices across the infrastructure and CI/CD processes.
Optimize resource usage and manage cloud infrastructure costs.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior DevOps engineers.
Stay uptodate with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps cloud computing and infrastructure automation.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
5 years of professional experience in DevOps.
Extensive experience with AWS platforms.
Experience with Jenkins
Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins GitLab CI CircleCI or similar.
Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python Bash etc.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
Knowledge of infrastructureascode tools like Terraform CloudFormation or Ansible.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus Grafana ELK Stack or Splunk.
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
English Language Conversational
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified Solution Architect (Associate or Professional)
Experience with multicloud environments and hybrid cloud strategies.
Familiarity with compliance and security standards (e.g. ISO 27001 SOC 2).
Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
