Job Description

We are looking for Operations Coordinator

Department: Operations

Responsibility:

  • Coordinating deliveries and transport bookings as well as different packing instructions.
  • Handling queries from customers and eyewa colleagues regarding freight and customs issues.
  • Receive check for accuracy of incoming stock shipments.
  • Answer calls and assist in office management with daily functions.
  • Audit all warehouse and logistics invoices and ensure they match contracts and/or quotes given.
  • Implement cost reduction principle in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities.
  • Creation of daily work logs and transmission of the same to the supervisor.
  • Maintain all inventory systems.
  • Create and run all inventory reports.
  • Responsible for assisting in periodic cycle counting of inventory.
  • Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control. records and recommends remedial actions to resolve discrepancies.
  • Accountable and responsible for high standards of warehouse safety cleanliness and organization.
  • Receives stock into the warehouse. Maintain and organize stock in the warehouse.
  • Ensures picking racks are full and in order.
  • Monitor inventory movement and communicate inventory transaction issues escalating when required.
  • Tracks and monitors the status of pending items and trouble tickets; followsup as needed.
  • Pull prepare and stage inventory for dispatch.
Coordinating operations management tasks that relate to crossfunctional teams or external partners and tools coordinating resources information and activities where required.
  • Assisting with the administration support and optimisation of ecommerce tools.
Reporting and following up on any reported issues logging tickets providing information and escalating where required.
  • Creating and maintaining ecommerce and operations documentation and guides.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of Diploma or Bachelors degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Good knowledge of logistics processes order management inventory management.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
  • Previous ecommerce/ operations/ eyewear experience is a plus.
