Job Description

Chemistry Teacher Sought for Reputable Secondary School in Lambeth

We are pleased to partner with a wellregarded secondary school in Lambeth known for its commitment to providing a stimulating and supportive learning environment. They are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Chemistry Teacher to join their faculty in a fulltime permanent position.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the schools thriving Science department and inspire the next generation of scientists. The role entails:

  • Designing and delivering engaging and rigorous Chemistry lessons aligned with the national curriculum and schools educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Fostering a passion for science and critical thinking in students equipping them with essential skills for the future.
  • Assessing student progress providing constructive feedback and implementing personalized learning strategies to maximize individual potential.
  • Collaborating with colleagues within the department and wider school community to develop and enhance the Science curriculum and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
  • Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Passionate about Chemistry and its realworld applications with a strong commitment to student success.
  • Possesses excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
