Job Description

Join us were an Investors in People Silver Standard Company

We have a brandnew role at Ground Control for a Construction Project Planner in our Landscaping team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful planning scheduling and execution of our landscape construction projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules ensuring all activities are planned effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Construction Managers Site Supervisors and subcontractors to ensure seamless coordination of resources materials and labour.
  • Monitor project progress identify potential delays and implement contingency plans to keep projects on track.
  • Assist in budget forecasting cost management and resource allocation to optimize project delivery.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders providing updates on project timelines risks and critical paths.
  • Ensure compliance with health safety and environmental regulations.
  • Maintain uptodate project documentation and reporting.

To be successful in this role you will need some proven experience already as a Construction Planner or Project Scheduler ideally in a Construction or civil engineering environment. We can also consider Assistant Planner applications who are looking for a step upwards.

  • Proficiency in using planning software such as Primavera P6 Aster MS Project or similar.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills with the ability to anticipate issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.

This is a hybrid role that can be mostly worked from home with occasional site and office visits as and when required depending on the needs of the business.
