This role is part of the Markham Vale transport planning function. Working within the Transport Management System (TMS) you will be planning both outbound and inbound orders for multiple customers over a number of Great Bear sites.

What will you be doing
- Booking orders in line with the delivery profile utilising both Phone Email and Portal booking options
- Responding to customers with additional late orders adding them to the plan or removing orders as requested
- Good knowledge of the UK to enable utilising driver hours to maximise the delivery plan
- Arranging collections in line with the outbound plan.
- Planning orders to specific customer requests and ensuring the correct trailers and drivers are matched to the plan
- Rebooking failed orders to support a quick turnaround.
- Planning Multi drops loads
- Planning deliveries with timed delivery requirements
Qualifications :
- Excellent administration skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to succeed in a pressurised environment
- Able to work using own initiative and with little supervision
- Good knowledge of MS Office in particular Excel Word Outlook (or equivalent)
- Previous experience gained in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- Experience in an FMCG environment is desirable
