Title: Windows Server Engineer
Location: NEW HAVEN CT Onsite
W2 Contract Role
Primary responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service and technical support for onsite and remote users
- Troubleshoot hardware software and PC operating system issues
- Identify network/applications issues
- Use trouble ticket system (ServiceNow) for tracking issues and problem resolution
- Resolve issues or ensure timely escalation to appropriate support level
- Windows support application support and manufacturing IT support
- Troubleshoot hardware software and PC operating issues (laptops printers mobile devices etc)
- Troubleshoot issues with Print Servers/Printers/Cloudbased printing
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a Windows 10/11 and M365 Environment
- Experience supporting cloudbased SaaS products
- Understanding of Microsoft Teams and Teams Rooms technologies
- Experience with Patching Desktops (preferably with automated tools like Solarwinds nAble and SCCM)
- Securityfirst mindset participating in security remediation as necessary
- Familiarity with a Manufacturing environment a plus!
- Networking experience and understanding how it works is a plus!
- Experience with Citrix Active Directory DNS and DHCP
- Microsoft Windows server and client OS (Windows 2008Windows 2019)
- Patch Management & Backups/Restores (Rubrik experience a plus)
- VMware management (VxRail & Nutanix experience a plus)
- Microsoft PowerShell scripting
