Job Title: PeopleSoft ERP Developer (100% Remote)

Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft ERP Developer to join the CAPPS project for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA). This role involves supporting the Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) PeopleSoft Travel and Expense (T&E) module in the Workforce Reporting Accounting and Procurement System (WRAPS). The developer will work on enhancements customizations and maintaining operations for the system.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and development of PeopleSoft customizations based on business requirements.
  • Develop bolton solutions for PeopleSoft and ensure continued operations of customizations.
  • Responsible for the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering designing developing testing and implementing new modules.
  • Provide technical support to implement upgrade or maintain PeopleSoft ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support the implementation of PeopleSoft T&E in WRAPS.
  • Ensure alignment with Oracle databases and AIX servers.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and reports.

Primary Skills:

  • 5 years of experience implementing/upgrading/maintaining PeopleSoft ERP systems.
  • Expertise in Application Data Mover Scripts Engine Component Interface Unix BI Publisher Events and Notifications and SQR.
  • Proven ability to work with both technical and nontechnical teams managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • 4 years of experience with Texas State PeopleSoft Finance systems specifically WRAPS or CAPPS at the Comptroller of Public Accounts.
  • 2 years of experience configuring CAPPS T&E module.
  • Strong technical writing skills and experience collecting technical requirements and designing appropriate software solutions.

Secondary Skills (Good to Have):

  • Familiarity with State of Texas PeopleSoft Finance system implementation and support.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
  • 7 years of overall experience with PeopleSoft ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of technical support for implementing and maintaining PeopleSoft including customization and troubleshooting.
