Senior Backend Engineer Data Integrations:
As a Senior Backend Engineer for Data Integrations you will work with our CTO and Tech Lead on a daily basis focusing on developing APIs backend systems and our POstgreSQL databases. Besides that you will work closely with the clients and their tech teams to understand integration requirements and leverage data integration workflows in AI tools.
In addition to having a passion for data it is particularly important to us that you are a team player enjoy working with a small and agile team to deliver solutions in a fastpaced environment.
Tasks
- Architecture & Software Engineering: Develop scalable and maintainable APIs backend systems and workflows to allow customers integrating with Packa.
- Data Engineering: Develop and evolve data schemes and manage & optimize PostgreSQL databases on AWS RDS to ensure efficient data handling and performance.
- Autonomous Tools Development: Create and maintain workflows tools and interfaces that facilitate and automate the integration process of our SaaS product.
- Customer Collaboration: Work closely with clients and their technical teams to understand integration requirements and resolve any issues that arise.
- Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and improve integration processes workflows tools and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Artificial Intelligence: Leverage data integration workflows in AI tools and models to automate processes improve quality and quantity or complex data structuring tasks.
- Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation for integration procedures tools and best practices for our customers as well as internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience: 5 years of experience in backend software development with a strong focus on data integrations data engineering & system architecture.
- Integration expertise: Demonstrated experience integrating with ERP systems or other external parties and related data integration challenges.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in TypeScript and Nest.js for backend development as well as experience with RDBMS (especially PostgreSQL) and AWS services & cloud architecture are a big plus.
- ProblemSolving: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to diagnose and address complex integration issues as well as refining data integrations workflows.
- UI Development: Ability to build and maintain supporting UIs that aid in the integration process leveraging modern frontend technologies would be a plus.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- General Requirements: You live in Berlin speak fluent English and fluency in German is a plus.
