A Food and Drinks Order Taker is responsible for Taking the order and anticipating guest needs, ensuring
Correct and smooth orders to our guests all shifts and guest satisfaction. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Answer the phone with clear, audible and smile voice.
Call the guest by his own name.
Focus on what you can do for your guest.
Any special request made by a guest will be accommodated with no hesitation.
Tell the guest the estimated time of the order.
Putting guest on hold should not exceed more than 15 seconds.
Repeating the order individually and generally.
Thank the guest for calling by his name.
Checking the food back of the guest.

Follow all the procedures of Guest stay experience.

Taking Orders:
- Greet customers warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately.
- Provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions.

Entering Orders:
- Input orders into the point-of-sale (POS) system promptly and accurately.
- Confirm order details with customers to ensure accuracy before processing.

Customer Interaction:
- Engage with customers, answering questions and addressing any concerns regarding their orders.
- Handle requests for modifications, substitutions, or dietary restrictions.

Payment Processing:
- Process customer payments, including cash and credit transactions, ensuring accuracy in change and receipts.
- Maintain a cash drawer and report any discrepancies to management.
Desired candidate profile
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service or food service role is a plus.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems or order management software is advantageous.
Skills:
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication abilities to clearly take and relay orders.
- Active Listening: Strong listening skills to accurately capture customer requests and preferences.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to ensure orders are taken accurately to prevent errors.
- Multitasking Abilities: Capacity to handle multiple orders and requests simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
