The Turns and Projects Technician is responsible for executing renovation and turnover tasks as directed by the Turns and Projects Team Supervisor. This role involves handson work to prepare vacated or new units for potential tenants ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform renovation and turnover tasks including painting carpentry plumbing electrical work and general repairs.
- Follow work orders and instructions provided by the Turns and Projects Team Supervisor.
- Ensure all work is completed to highquality standards and within specified timelines.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with the Turns and Projects Team Supervisor regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
- Assist with the delivery and organization of materials and supplies as needed.
- Provide support for other team members as required.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction renovation or a related field.
- Proficiency in various trades including carpentry plumbing electrical work and painting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders and technical drawings.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting and carrying heavy materials and equipment.
