Roles and responsibilities

As a Storekeeper at Rixos, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and deliveries within the hotel, ensuring that all items are accurately recorded and reach their designated locations in compliance with our purchasing and procurement standards. Your responsibilities will include receiving, forwarding, and monitoring all deliveries, maintaining detailed records of incoming and outgoing goods, and placing orders through our online procurement system.

In this position, you will maintain exclusive control over the hotel’s central stores, overseeing issue releases, managing deliveries, and conducting regular stock counts. Adhering to Health and Safety protocols, especially those related to food and beverage items, is essential. You will also support the Food & Beverage Department and collaborate with team members and managers, fostering a team-oriented environment.

Your tasks will include conducting inventory and stocktaking across various storage areas, assisting with recipe costing for new menus, and suggesting appropriate sale prices. Additionally, you will update existing recipe costs with current purchase prices and input new beverage recipes into the Opera system via the micros interface. It will be your responsibility to verify spoilage reports, approve beverage issues from outlets, and manage steward sale issues and operational equipment requests.

To ensure efficient operations, you will perform spot inventories in outlets at least once a month and conduct yield tests for meat, fish, and juices, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
