Job Description
This is a remote position.
We re looking to hire a Virtual Accounting Specialist to support the team that plays a crucial role in managing the companys financial transactions and records. Account administration includes managing office accounts rental payments contractor payments and client accounts for our Directors and Shareholders. The Candidate should drive growth for our company by being an essential part of the Account Management team.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliation.
- Manage monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring timely and accurate financial statements.
- Perform financial analysis budgeting and forecasting to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Prepare and submit tax returns ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners including auditors and tax advisors to ensure seamless financial operations.
- Utilize accounting software and tools to streamline processes and maintain data integrity.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Specialist Bookkeeper or similar role preferably in a virtual setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles practices and standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks Xero SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical organizational and problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
- Stable internet connection of at least 10mbps with a backup.
- Operational computer/laptop (Minimum Specs: Intel i3 or its equivalent 4GB RAM).
