Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Premium Dining Hostess to join our prestigious hospitality team in Kuwait. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. You will be responsible for managing reservations, greeting guests with a warm and friendly demeanour, and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Your strong communication skills and attention to detail will help set the tone for an unforgettable dining adventure. With a focus on teamwork and professionalism, you will collaborate closely with our dining staff to uphold the high standards our establishment is known for.

Responsibilities

  • Greeting guests as they arrive and ensuring that they are seated in a timely manner.
  • Taking reservations and managing the waitlist.
  • Providing menus and answering any questions that guests may have about the menu.
  • Escorting guests to their table and presenting them with menus.
  • Making recommendations on food and drink options.
  • Ensuring that tables are properly set up and that the dining area is clean and tidy.
  • Handling guest complaints and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Coordinating with other staff members, including servers and kitchen staff, to ensure that guests receive prompt and courteous service.
  • Assisting with other tasks as needed, including answering phones and taking orders.

Desired candidate profile

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of one year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry, demonstrating a strong foundation in customer service and operational procedures. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effectively interacting with both guests and team members, fostering a welcoming and collaborative environment.

The ability to multitask and maintain composure in stressful situations is crucial, ensuring that service remains smooth and efficient during peak times.
