OVERVIEW:
- This position in a highperformance team requires strong development experience in enhancing various features for Point of Sale in Client.
- The daytoday activity will involve developing and enhancing Point of Sale and supporting services using Java microservices. Also experience with Angular or similar UI technologies is preferred.
- This role is perfect for someone who loves to perform handson work eager to learn various modern technologies and has excellent problemsolving skills.
- The ideal candidate excels in hands on development and crossfunctional communication.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design develop and maintain java features for POS systems.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices.
- Integrate thirdparty APIs and services to enhance functionality.
- Conduct unit testing and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate into our development process.
- Participate in framework discussion and assist with building Proof of Concept (POC)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6 8 Years of strong handson experience in Java JEE design patterns Java microservices
- 5 years of experience in java design patterns multithreading concepts spring boot spring security
- 3 years of experience in Java UI technologies like Angular React html/css
- Experience working in an Agile environment. Analyze project requirements and prepare high level technical documentation.
- Experience developing spring boot applications and coordinating with all collaborating teams for functional and technical requirements.
- Design and develop a Restful APIs in the project as per the requirement along with handling the security using Spring Security.
- Develop unit tests and integrated tests for the applications
- Experience with design and development of webapplications for business reporting and monitor systems using monitoring tools like Datadog.
- Experience with Bitbucket/ GitLab for version control and build tools like Maven/ Gradle.
- Strong SQL / PLSQL knowledge.
- Strong communication skills as this role requires collaborating with various teams across the enterprise and reporting progress in terms of key initiatives.
- Point of Sale (Jumpmind Commerce) experience preferred.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Software Engineering or a related field.
