ABOUT THE ROLE:
From the mgr: This position is really a hybrid between the tworoles; A cross between a security generalist and technical person who s familiar andworked with different security tool implementations.
This person will help find solutions to security business needsalong with helping to identify gaps in our current tool set. They will alsoplay a part in ensuring that we are actively working to improve products
We are seeking an experiencedSecurity Technology Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our IT Security team.The ideal candidate will possess indepth knowledge of security technologiesand best practices providing guidance and expertise to enhance our securityposture and address emerging threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary resource for security technology solutions providing insights and recommendations on best practices and emerging trends.
- Evaluate and recommend security technologies that align with organizational goals ensuring they meet security standards and compliance requirements.
- Help guide the deployment and integration of security technologies collaborating with crossfunctional teams to ensure effective implementation.
- Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities advising on risk mitigation strategies and solutions.
- Assist in the creation and refinement of security policies and procedures ensuring they reflect current technologies and compliance standards.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to align security initiatives with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
