Job Title: Tax Manager/Senior Manager Construction
Location: Tustin CA US (Onsite)
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: As per Exp.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager/Senior Manager with expertise in the construction industry to join our Tustin CA office. The ideal candidate will manage individual and business tax returns mentor junior staff and contribute to client acquisition and relationship management. ResponsibilitiesA typical day as a Tax Manager/Senior Manager might include:
- Collaborating with staff to ensure timely and accurate completion of individual and business tax returns.
- Reviewing approving and signing off on tax returns for clients.
- Coaching and mentoring team members to develop their tax expertise and leadership skills.
- Gathering and analyzing taxrelated information to prepare accurate tax returns and reports.
- Identifying opportunities for clients to maximize tax benefits and advising them on best practices.
- Networking and building relationships with new and existing clients to grow the firms business.
- Managing client billing and ensuring services are appropriately invoiced.
To succeed in this role you must meet the following nonnegotiable requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field.
- CPA or EA license.
- Experience in the construction industry is required (manufacturing experience may be considered as an alternative).
The following skills and experience would make you an even stronger candidate:
- Previous experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Prior experience in public accounting.
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams or projects.
