Job Description
Job Title: Cybersecurity Developer
Location: Atlanta GA (Onsite Position)
Duration: 12 Months
Job Description:
- Cybersecurity Developer Specialists are highly skilled individuals embedded within the delivery teams.
- Familiar with the product being developed and understands potential security concerns.
- Know the pain points of their teammates code bases and culture so they are then in a good position to present security in a way that directly related to the application.
- Review code for security issues. Raise awareness of security issues within the development team. CDs will advise the team how to fix. (CDs should have ability to x issues in development if a primary developer is not available).
- Answer developer team questions about secure coding practices.
- Connect with other Cybersecurity Developer Specialists (CDs) in a central platform established in the organization for knowledge exchange and standardization in approach.
- Requirement: Cyber vulnerability development experience required
- Education: Stay up to date with the latest practices through ongoing training with security.
- Escalation: Act as the point person to elevate an issue (false positives unknown fix etc.) to work with the Corporate Cyber Security team.
- Ability to support 45 scrum team for vulnerability remediations consulting.
