Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION (SENIOR PCB DESIGN ENGINEER)
Role and Responsibilities:
- Design and develop complete circuit boards integrating mechanical electrical and electronic components.
- Execute tasks related to electronic hardware development encompassing various activities such as requirement breakdown architectural block diagram creation component selection detailed circuit design worstcase analysis test case development and formal circuit performance verification.
- Conduct schematic capture and analysis of electronic circuits.
- Independently perform PCB layout design or support PCB layout engineers to complete layout.
- Execute design verification and validations according to defined design inputs and product specifications.
- Develop requirement specifications for printed wiring assemblies and electronic components.
- Conduct failure analysis root cause determination and corrective action implementation.
- Write reports specifications correspondence and procedures.
- Ensure products comply with applicable specifications and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Comprehensive grasp of electronics hardware design including familiarity with microprocessors or FPGAs conventional IO interfaces (Ethernet USB I2C SPI etc.) and DC power systems.
- Proficiency in conducting schematic captures and PCB layout.
- Proficient in one of the leading PCB Design tools.
- Familiarity with the PCB manufacturing process and Design for Manufacturing.
- Experience using lab equipment such as digital multimeters DC Power Supply oscilloscopes.
