As of 1/1/24 all new and returning agency staff must have deescalation training as part of their onboarding and clearance. Facility As of 1/1/2024 ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. Welle (Verbal Deescalation bundle training required) OR CPI OR PMCS


26000 visit per year
# of beds: 20 newly renovated Emergency department with state of the art monitors and communication devices.
Nurse to patient ratio: 1:5
EMR: EPIC
Dress code: Traveler provided professional scrubs (no logos)
Trauma Level: III
Patient population: NewbornGeriatric

  • Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through the adult life cycle utilizing knowledge of age related growth and development to individualize the nursing process and functioning in accordance with the nursing philosophy and objectives the standards of care and the standards of practice.
  • Must be comfortable with drips and vents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to adapt to stressful situations quickly and effectively.
  • The key to Emergency Medical Services is the relationship between the Emergency Department staff and the rescuers.
  • Working as a team our prehospital emergency department and inhospital personnel rely on each other completely. From first responder to ambulance crew to paramedic to emergency room staff to trauma surgeon there is no separation in our efforts.

Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

Traveler must be willing to work TWO of the following:

Thanksgiving and weekend after
Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and weekend after
New Year Eve/New Year Day and weekend after


NonBillable Orientation: 0
Multipliers (OT Holiday CallBack): 1.25%
Call: 4.00

Travel pairs will be considered but must be able to work different shifts and have transport to hospital.
  • 2 years of current ED experience (more experience first consideration!) Required
  • Prior travel experience
  • EPIC experience
  • BSN Preferred
Profile Requirements:
  • Cover page (if available/not required)
  • Work History
  • License/Certifications Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys BLS PALS and ACLS)

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
  • ACLS (AHA)
  • PALS (AHA)
  • BLS (AHA)

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS :
  • New Hampshire

ADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTS : NH RN license or compact must be inhand at profile upload. Facility will not pend license
Weekend Requirements : Every other weekend /Holidays required if needed
On Call Requirements : No Scheduled Call (Call only when there is low census)
