Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

The Director of Spa is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the spa operation, ensuring an exceptional Guest and Member experience, while driving revenue growth. This role includes managing the Spa team, maintaining compliance with standards, and collaborating with other departments to deliver an excellent service.


What will I be doing?

As a Director of Spa, you are ultimately responsible for overseeing the Spa operations and team to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience. The Director of Spa will also be required to achieve revenue targets and manage customer feedback. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Spa Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations of the spa, ensuring efficiency and excellence in service delivery
  • Ensure all treatments and procedures comply with current legislation and company standards
  • Manage guest experiences, including bookings, payments, and consultation cards

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead and motivate the Spa team members and therapists
  • Foster high-quality service and support ongoing professional development

Financial Management

  • Achieve and exceed revenue targets through creative and alternative programs
  • Maintain and operate within the department’s annual budget and financial targets
  • Monitor and manage net movement

Guest Experience and Service Improvement

  • Manage guest feedback to drive continuous improvement in services and programs
  • Ensure personalized service for all guests

Compliance and Standards

  • Instill and uphold brand values and quality standards daily
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and COSHH regulations
  • Maintain security for cash, stock, and equipment, adhering to all department procedures

Collaboration and Communication

  • Liaise with other departments to integrate spa services seamlessly
  • Respond to audits and implement improvements to achieve continuous enhancement
