What will I be doing?
A Bartender will be responsible for engaging our guests during their visit, receiving/serving orders and ensuring brand service standards are met to the highest quality. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Drink Preparation: Mix, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes or customer preferences.
Customer Service: Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences, ensuring a positive dining or drinking experience.
Inventory Management: Keep track of drink supplies and ingredients, ensuring the bar is stocked, and report shortages to management.
Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
Cash Handling: Process payments accurately, handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain an accurate cash register.
Knowledge of Drinks: Stay informed about various drinks, cocktails, and beverages, including ingredients and preparation techniques, as well as current trends in the beverage industry.
Compliance with Regulations: Follow health and safety regulations, including age verification for alcohol sales and responsible service practices.
Customer Engagement: Foster a friendly atmosphere, engaging with patrons and creating a memorable experience through conversation and service.
Handling Complaints: Address any customer complaints or issues calmly and professionally, finding solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members, such as servers and kitchen staff, to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
