DevOps Engineer

Title: Devops Engineer

Location: Columbus OH (Day 1 Onsite)

Contract: 6 months

Job Description:

• 7 10 years of professional experience in a software development environment primarily in a DevOps role.
• Design set up and maintain clusters with a focus on security scalability and high availability.
• Implement automated pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) using Jenkins GitLab CI or similar tools within OpenShift. Splunk Dynatrace & Automation Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and manage the resolution of infrastructure problems.
• Work closely with development teams to containerize and orchestrate their applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Ensure the implementation of best practices for infrastructure security reliability and fault tolerance.
• Develop and maintain documentation configurations processes and service records.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development teams in deploying and scaling their applications.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with strong handson experience in Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of containerization technologies including Docker and experience in building and managing containerized applications.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins Bitbucket SonarQube Artifactory.
• Proficient in scripting languages like Python Bash for automation.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix administration including shell scripting and system configuration. Knowledge of network protocols and services (TCP/IP DNS HTTP/HTTPS SSH) and security fundamentals.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
