Sr QA Automation Engineer

Summary: A Senior QA Automation/Manual Engineer is sought to join the IT Business Systems Delivery (BSD) Customer Engagement Pega team. This role will enhance the teams ability to deliver highquality software by developing and executing both automated and manual tests. The candidate will work closely with development teams ensuring topnotch software releases and maintaining CI processes.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the software quality assurance lifecycle within Agile and waterfall frameworks.
• Formulate and coordinate test strategies with development and product teams.
• Design develop and execute automated and manual test plans.
• Conduct UI and functional tests using automation tools.
• Maintain automated Continuous Integration flows and troubleshoot system issues.
• Validate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) results and resolve defects.

Skills/Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• 8 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation).
• Proficient in automation tools like Selenium and API testing tools like Postman or SoapUI.
• Familiarity with web application testing CI processes and test management tools (e.g. ADO JIRA).
• Experience with SQL databases and version control systems.
• Strong communication problemsolving and collaboration skills.
• Nice to have: Experience with C# Azure DevOps SpecFlow and automation testing of clientserver and web applications.
