Job Title: Project Manager Medical Device (Orthopedics)

Location:Indiana

Job Type: Contract

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the development and implementation of orthopedic medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management a thorough understanding of the medical device industry and experience working with crossfunctional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans timelines and budgets for orthopedic medical device projects ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.

CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D regulatory quality assurance and manufacturing teams to ensure project milestones are met and product specifications are adhered to.

Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success and compliance with FDA and ISO standards.

Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders providing regular updates on progress challenges and solutions.

Documentation Management: Ensure proper documentation of all project activities maintaining compliance with industry regulations and internal policies.

Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure that products meet safety and efficacy standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenditures ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Life Sciences or related field; Masters degree preferred.
5 years of project management experience in the medical device industry with a focus on orthopedics.
Strong knowledge of FDA regulations and ISO 13485 standards.
Proven ability to manage crossfunctional teams and drive projects to successful completion.
Excellent communication organizational and problemsolving skills.
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Preferred Skills:

PMP certification or equivalent project management certification.
Experience with product development from concept to market.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
