Northwest Talent Solutions is partnering with a leading advisory tax and assurance firm in search of a highly talented Senior Tax Associate specializing in flow through taxation. Our client offers a genuine coasttocoast and global advantage with offices in major U.S. regions and leading financial centers worldwide.
Job Summary:
As a Flow Through Tax Senior Associate you will be a valued business advisor delivering industryfocused tax advisory and compliance services to middle market clients. This role offers upward career trajectory flexibility in work arrangements and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients teammates and leadership.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services to Scorporations partnerships individuals and corporations
- Participate in tax research projects and help draft IRS responses
- Team with leaders on special projects in corporate and flow through taxation
- Develop tax recommendations for clients and collaborate with leadership on strategies
- Communicate with specialty tax practices on complex tax matters
- Utilize networking skills to build strong internal and external relationships
- Participate in firmwide learning and development programs
Qualifications:
I. Education:
- Bachelors degree in accounting law or related business field
- Sufficient coursework and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam
II. Experience:
- 2 years of experience in federal tax compliance and consulting services
- Public accounting firm experience preferred
- Strong skills in time management communication and problemsolving
III. License(s)/Certification(s):
- CPA license preferred
- JD license considered
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills
- Adaptability and initiative in a fastpaced environment
