Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Windows Server System Administrator to design implement and maintain our enterprise Windows server infrastructure.
This role requires deep technical expertise in Windows Server technologies and a proven track record of managing complex enterprise environments.
Core Responsibilities:
Design implement and maintain Windows Server infrastructure including Active Directory DNS DHCP and Group Policy
Lead the planning and execution of server upgrades patches and maintenance activities
Manage and optimize virtualization platforms (HyperV/VMware) and cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS)
Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions
Monitor system performance and capacity planning
Develop and maintain documentation for systems processes and procedures
Provide escalated technical support and troubleshooting
Mentor junior system administrators and provide technical guidance
Participate in oncall rotation for critical system support
Skills:
7 years Experience administering Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
7 years Expert knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy DNS and DHCP
7 years Strong experience with virtualization technologies (HyperV and/or VMware)
7 years Proven experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions
7 years Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation
7 years Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP routing firewalls)
7 years Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization
7 years Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
7 years Knowledge of configuration management tools (SCCM Ansible)
16 yrs. preparing complex technical documentation
16 yrs. conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty
Bachelors degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience
Microsoft certifications (MCSE MCSA or newer rolebased certifications)
